Our Yerba Mate tea is made from the finest quality selected leaves of the evergreen rainforest holly (Ilex paraguariensis), which are dried, cut and sifted before being placed into our natural fibre tea bags. Yerba Mate Tea Taste
It is fair to describe Yerba Mate tea as an acquired taste, similar to olives. It has a distinctive smokey flavour that is unoffensive and unique; many find it incredibly addictive after a few cups.

How to make the perfect cup of herbal tea:
- Bring freshly filtered water to a rolling boil
- Pour boiling water over the herbs and cover the cup or close the pot lid
- Allow steeping for between 2-10 minutes depending on the strength required
