Organic Turmeric Tea
As with all our Organic tea's they have been certified organic by the Soil Association, debatably the most stringent organic certification. Choosing organic is important as Turmeric grows in India where the use of pesticides and fertilisers is prevalent and heavy metals can leak into the water courses from industrial regions. When this turmeric arrived in the UK, it was independently tested to check for heavy metals, pesticides and other nasty compounds we don't want to consume.
Traditional Uses of Turmeric
Turmeric has been widely used in Traditional Ayurveda for centuries and continues to be today. Many people find it can help with a range of issues, but and as with any natural unpatentable product large corporate-funded research facilities aren't interested in finding out exactly what it can be used, so you'll just have to try it for yourself!
